Selecting an Applicant

Prerequisites

Before selecting an applicant for a vacancy, you should carry out the following steps:

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Human resources Next navigation step Personnel Management Next navigation step Recruitment Next navigation step Selection process Next navigation step Decision. End of the navigation path

  2. The Applicant Selection screen appears.

  3. Enter the key for the vacancy to be filled in the Vacancy field and enter any other selection criteria necessary.

  4. Choose .

  5. The Applicant Selection screen appears.

  6. Position the cursor on the desired applicant in the list displayed and choose Short profile .

  7. The Display text screen appears, displaying a short profile of the selected applicant.

  8. Use this short profile to check the applicant's suitability.

  9. Go back, by choosing .

  10. The Applicant Selection screen appears.

  11. If applicable, change the applicant’s vacancy assignment status.

  12. To change the status to:

    Choose:

    Invite

    Invite

    Contract offered

    Offer contract

    Put on hold

    Put on hold

    Rejected

    Reject

    In process

    Process

  13. If necessary, repeat steps 4 through 9 for other applicants.

Result

You have selected an applicant for the vacancy.

Note Note

You have now changed the vacancy assignment status of certain applicants. This usually means that certain follow-up activities must be carried out for these applicants.
