Managing Applicant Selection

Prerequisites

You must have performed the Selecting an Applicant procedure. The following procedure is explained by taking a certain vacancy assignment status as an example. Here, several applicants have been assigned the vacancy assignment status Invite during the procedure Selecting an applicant .

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Human resources Next navigation step Personnel Management Next navigation step Recruitment Next navigation step Selection process Next navigation step Administration. End of the navigation path

  2. The Administration of Selection Procedure screen appears.

  3. Enter the key for the vacancy in the Vacancy field, and the value 7 in the Status (vacancy) field.

  4. By entering 7 you can select all applicants whose vacancy assignment status is Invite.

  5. Choose .

  6. The Administration of Selection Procedure screen appears.

  7. Select an applicant from the list displayed and choose Short profile .

  8. The Change Overall Status dialog box appears.

  9. Enter a 7 for Invite in the Overall status field, and if necessary a status reason, and choose .

  10. The overall status Invite, and a planned Invite to interview and Appointment for interview activity are assigned to the applicant selected.

  11. Repeat steps 4 through 6 until all listed applicants have been assigned the overall status invite .

Result

All applicants whose vacancy assignment status was Invite now have the same overall status as well as the planned activities Invitation to interview and Appointment for interview .
