Creating Audit Structures

An auditor requires an audit structure in SAP NetWeaver Application Server (SAP NetWeaver AS) ABAP before he or she can carry out an audit.

Prerequisites

You have sufficient authorizations to create an area menu.

Context

You as a developer can create an audit structure for the auditor.

You as an auditor can create an audit structure yourself, provided the administrator gives you the authorizations to do so.

An audit structure lays the foundation for the tasks an auditor must perform and organizes the documentation an auditor requires during an audit. The audit structure consists of transactions and documents.

Procedure

  1. In Area Menu Maintenance (transaction SE43), create a menu.
  2. Add transactions and documents in the form of parameter transactions as required.
  3. Save your entries.

Next Steps

Create authorizations for the audit structure and assign them to the user of the auditor.
