Editing an Installment Loan

Use

You use this function to create, change, and display loans from the product category Installment Loan (360).

Note Note

You can only post loans from this category to customer accounts. This means that there must be a customer account for the loan partner in Financial Accounting .

You can only use this product category for loans given.

Prerequisites

  • In the Customizing settings for Loans Management you have defined the possible statuses and status transfers in the IMG activity Company Code-Dependent Settings for Product Type .

  • To be able to save the loan in Contract status, the business partner needs to be completely created for a role from the role type main loan borrower (TR100).

Scope of Functions

An interface is available for the processing of an installment loan, where you can enter the installment loan master data in individual components. For each component the system displays a status icon as well as the number of collateral objects, insurance policies, and stops assigned to the installment loan.

The installment loan consists of the following components:

  • Master Data

  • Conditions

  • Partners

  • Financial Data

    which contains the following subcomponents:

    • Payment Plan

    • Cash Flow

    • Billing

    • Account Statement

    • Loan Commitment

  • Organization

  • Collateral

  • Insurance

  • Default

  • Stops

The Edit Installment Loan function includes the following subfunctions:

  • Create Installment Loans

    If you want to create an installment loan, you need to specify the company code and the business partner as well as select a product. You can then enter the additional data for the individual components.

  • Change Installment Loan

    If you want to change an existing installment loan, you must enter the company code and loan number. Alternatively, you can search for a loan using the value help or the business partner, or use the favorites.

    The system displays the loan in display mode. To make changes you need to switch to change mode.

    In the function Change Installment Loan you can call the functions Rescission or Withdrawal by choosing Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Rescission End of the navigation path or Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Withdrawal. End of the navigation path

  • Display Installment Loan

    If you want to display an existing installment loan, you must enter the company code and loan number. Alternatively, you can search for a loan using the value help or the business partner, or use the favorites.

Additional function are available in the function Edit Installment Loan .

  • By choosing Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step Processing Characteristics End of the navigation path you can display certain properties of the loan contract.

Activities

  1. In the SAP Easy Access menuchoose Start of the navigation path Accounting Next navigation step Bank Applications Next navigation step Loans Management Next navigation step New Business Next navigation step Installment Loan Next navigation step Edit End of the navigation path .

  2. The Create Installment Loan screen appears.

  3. Specify the data for a new installment loan or select it from an existing installment loan to change or display it.

  4. Save your entries.
