Incident/Accident Management (EHS-IHS-IA) This component supports you with the recording and processing of work-related events. It allows you to comply with the requirements of national and international law. The term “event” refers to everything you are required to record or wish to record: ranging from personal injuries and damage to property to accidents and near misses.
In more detail,
incident/accident management
provides the following possibilities:
Recording and editing of all relevant event data in an incident/accident log
Automatic transfer of data from the
injury/illness log to the
incident/accident log
Creating, shipping, and archiving of the reports prescribed by legislation using the SAP system (for example, OSHA accident reports in accordance with U.S. law)
Evaluation of the incident/accident log
You can evaluate the data in the incident/accident log using the reporting (EHS-IHS-REP) component. For example, you can determine the 1000-employee quotaor the 1,000,000-hour quota.
