Integration: Incident/Accident Log – Medical Service – Injury/Illness Log You can use the
incident/accident log
, the
medical service
, and the
injury/illness log
in fully integrated processes. You have the following options:
Assignment of a medical service to an incident/accident log entry
Assignment of a medical service to an injury/illness log entry
Transfer of data from the injury/illness log to the incident/accident log
Display of an injury/illness log entry from an incident/accident log entry
The following graphic shows how the three functions are integrated:

The following prerequisites must be fulfilled for you to be able to use the integration fully:
The
Industrial Hygiene and Safety
(EHS-IHS) and
Occupational Health
(EHS-HEA) components must be productive in the same SAP system (and in the same client).
You have edit authorization for the incident/accident log (authorization object C_EHSI_IAL) and the authorizations of an occupational physician (see Data Protection in Occupational Health ).
You can assign a medical service for a person to an incident/accident log entry or to an injury/illness log entry The relationship that exists between each of them is 1:1.
You can go directly from the
incident/accident log
or the
injury/illness log
to the
medical services
function and view the assigned medical service. You can also reassign a medical service or create a new one.
Note
Using the BAdI EHSI_FAL_ASS_SRV_SCR that is activated in the standard system, you can open or assign a medical service directly in the injury/illness log.
You can also transfer any relevant data from the
injury/illness log
to the
incident/accident log
. When you have transferred data from the
injury/illness log
to the
incident/accident log
, you can go directly from the respective incident/accident log entry to the injury/illness log entry from which the data was transferred. For more information, see
Data Transfer from the Injury/Illness Log
.
