Using Schedule Lines, you can create and edit multiple delivery dates for a sales order item instead of entering multiple product item rows.

For example, if you have to add the delivery details of 50 units for Product A and the delivery date for 20 units is a week later than the delivery date for the rest of the 30 units, you had to add two product line entries for each schedule before. Now, you can add both the delivery dates for Product A in a single product line.
