It provides the flexibility to maintain agreed prices or discounts on sub-item level of a Bill-of-Material.

As an administrator, go to 
Business Configuration 
Implementation Projects
. Select your project and navigate to Edit Project Scope Questions Communication and Information Exchange Integration with External Applications and Solutions Integration into Sales, Service, and Marketing Processes Sales Quotes and select the scoping question: Do you want to change
sub-items that are determined in an external application?
