Contract Editing The editing functions for contracts allow you to map the assignment of the media products to your customers (retailers).
You create each contract in the system under the sales document type defined for the Media contract . A contract item relates to one media product. The contract has a start date and you can limit its validity by specifying an end date.
Changes to contracts are necessary, for example, when you assign a
new media product
to a retailer or cancel (
reject
) this assignment.
Mass functions
are available for assigning or rejecting media products in contracts (see
Product Addition
or
Product Rejection
).
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled before you can process contracts:
The necessary master data must be created in the system:
Retailer (SAP Business Partner)
Media product hierarchy (media product family, media product, media issues)
Geographical regions for retailers (for geographical media product determination and assignment of ad inserts)
Delivery viability set (only for assigning ad inserts)
