Contract Editing

Use

The editing functions for contracts allow you to map the assignment of the media products to your customers (retailers).

Create

You create each contract in the system under the sales document type defined for the Media contract . A contract item relates to one media product. The contract has a start date and you can limit its validity by specifying an end date.

Change

Changes to contracts are necessary, for example, when you assign a new media product to a retailer or cancel ( reject ) this assignment. Mass functions are available for assigning or rejecting media products in contracts (see Product Addition or Product Rejection ).

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be fulfilled before you can process contracts:

  • The necessary master data must be created in the system:

  • The sales document type for contracts is defined in Customizing for the standard Sales and Distribution solution. The standard delivery contains the sales document type JWK1 Media contract as an example.IMG path: Start of the navigation path Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Sales Next navigation step Sales Documents Next navigation step Sales Document Header Next navigation step Define Sales Document Types End of the navigation path .

    Note Note

If you want to create your own contract types for Media Product Sales and Distribution or Press Distribution, you should use the sample media contract (contract type JWK1 ) provided with the standard delivery as a copy template.

    End of the note.
