Use of Contract Type
The media contract is used to assign media products for delivery to a retailer.
You can use geographical media product determination , geographical media product listing , and geographical media product exclusion to ensure that the media products assigned in the contract correspond to the customer’s sales region.
The role
sold-to party
(AG)
can only be assigned to a media contract at header level
The following roles can be assigned to the media contract both at header and item level:
Ship-to party (WE)
Bill-to party (RE)
Payer (RG)
Returning retailer (RM)
The contractual data regarding pricing, tax determination, shipping scheduling, payment and output determination is taken from the business partner master record. The following diagram illustrates the characteristics of the media contract.

The following objects must be defined before orders can be generated for a contract:
Quantity plan (delivery quantities for all media issues in each contract item)
Issue mixes
