Use

Product configuration models are processed in the modeling environment for Variant Configuration based on configurable materials. This means that you have to specify the material you want to process when you start the modeling environment.

Integration

The material loaded in the model tree represents the starting point, under which all the other objects in the model are arranged.

Prerequisites

You have to create a configurable material before you can load it in the modeling environment. You cannot create materials with the modeling environment.

To configure a material, you have to classify it first.
