Booking units are to be sold as follows:
Booking units that were not created as combined booking units with content components, copy numbers and/or publication dates that are not identical.
Combined booking units in which the content components, copy numbers and/or publication dates are not identical in the lower-level booking units.
Example
Magazine
A
is published on Mondays. Magazine
B
is published on Wednesdays. The magazines have different copy numbers.
Create a basic booking unit for each magazine in the product master data. Combine the basic booking units in the
Time AB
combined booking unit. Define magazine
A
as the reference basic booking unit.
You enter the
Time AB
combined booking unit and copy number
10
when you create an ad item. The copy number specified refers to the reference basic booking unit.
Generating schedule lines for this ad item manually allows you to change the copy numbers proposed for the basic booking units and thus specify which copy number in magazine
B
is combined with copy number 10 in magazine
A
.
Manual schedule line generation can also be used to book magazines
A
and
B
in different weeks.
Example
An ad is to be published in magazine
A
and in the special publication for magazine
B
. Enter the identification key for the special publication in the
Special publication
field in addition to the business content component for the basic booking unit in magazine
B
.
You have entered at least one booking unit, one content component and a publication date for the ad item.
When you generate schedule lines manually, you influence automatic schedule line generation. During manual schedule line generation, you enter the data that would otherwise be generated by the system.

Separate ad spec
