Copying of Ad InsertsThis function is used to copy ad inserts.
It is part of document processing and is available to you as follows during creation and modification of ad insert and distribution items:

Items can be copied with their assigned ad inserts if the copying variants required to do so have been defined in Customizing.

New ad inserts are to be created by copying existing ad inserts.
You want to copy an ad spec that has already been assigned to a different ad insert or distribution order for the same sold-to party and then change the ad insert data.
The ad insert has been created in the current sales document or a different sales document.
An ad insert that has been created for a specific sales document can be copied into any other sales document. You must specify the number of the ad insert to be used as a copying template.
The ad insert created has a new ad insert number and is assigned to the item, sub-item or schedule line specified.
If you create an ad insert with a template, this assignment is inherited at the lower document levels.
