Information Structure S464An information structure defines a group of fields. It is used for the collection and reduction of data from an operative application (for example, inventory management in purchasing).
The system periodically updates data relating to events in the operative applications (such as movements) in the information structures. Information structures form the basis for analyses and evaluations.
Information structure S464 is available in Inventory Controlling. All key figures relating to material movements involving current valuated stock and vendor consignment stock and including special stock types are updated to this information structure.
Note
If the condition type for the relevant stock is set to
Valuation type
or
Storage location
in the
CMC profile
the CMC uses the data from information structure S464 in the range of coverage (ROC) calculation.
If the condition type for the relevant stock is set to
Status-managed Batches
or
Classified Batches
in the CMC profile the CMC uses the data from
information structure S034
in the range of coverage (ROC) calculation.
The key figures in this information structure are the same as those contained in information structure S031 Movements. However, S464 also includes the characteristic Form-Fit-Function Class. The characteristics are available in field catalog BPRT and include all of the fields that have been selected to create information structure S464 (that is, form-fit-function class, material, plant, storage location).
Data is written to information structure S464 when goods movements (also called material movements or stock movements) and invoice verification/revaluation take place. The data flows from the document structure to the information structures.
Caution
The system only updates Information structure S464 if the required data is maintained in table TMCA (Evaluation of Movement Types for LIS Update).
The update periodicity must be set to daily . The default value of S464 is set to daily.
