Forms in Travel Management

Purpose

You can use the forms in Travel Management to display and print statements for the following applications:

  • Travel Request

  • Travel Plans

  • Expense reports

Integration

The PDF forms are available on all of the user interfaces of Travel Management.

The HTML forms for travel requests and travel plans are available on all of the user interfaces of Travel Management.

The ABAP list forms for travel expenses are available on all user interfaces (on the Web Dynpro-based user interfaces the system converts the ABAP list forms to HTML).

Prerequisites

You define which form you want to use as follows:

  • For travel requests and travel plans you control the form use in Customizing for Travel Management under Start of the navigation path Travel Planning Next navigation step Expert View Next navigation step Further Control Parameters Next navigation step Define Enterprise-Wide Control Parameters End of the navigation path using the attribute HTML_FORM_R_P. The PDF forms are configured as standard.If you want to use HTML-based forms, set this attribute to value X.

  • For expense reports, you control the form use in Customizing for Travel Management under Start of the navigation path Travel Expenses Next navigation step Dialog and Travel Expenses Control Next navigation step Travel Expenses Control Next navigation step Travel Expenses Control (Expert View) End of the navigation path , Other Settlement by means of field 24. The PDF-based forms are configured as standard.If you want to use ABAP list forms, assign a corresponding value in field 24.

Features

Travel Management uses PDF-based forms by default . For more information, see PDF-Based Forms in Travel Management .

If you do not use PDF-based forms, you have the following alternatives:

  • For travel requests and travel plans you can use the conventional HTML-based forms.

  • For travel expense statements, you can use the conventional ABAP list forms.

    If you use Travel Management for the public sector in Austria or France, you need to change travel expenses over to ABAP list forms. For the public sector in Germany, you can also use PDF-based forms. For the public sector in other countries, you still need to check whether the ABAP list forms can be modified to meet your requirements.
