Exporting Calendar Tasks as iCalendar Files

You can export your calendar tasks in the calendar exchange format (iCalendar) to add them to a calendar.

Context

You can export the following tasks:

  • composite tasks

  • general tasks

  • review tasks

  • data locking tasks

  • data action tasks

  • input tasks

Procedure

  1. In the Calendar, select a task and then select (Export).

    Depending on your browser settings, you will either see a message stating the task has been exported or a Save As dialog.

  2. Do the following in the Save As dialog:
    1. Provide a name for your task and select a location to save the task to.
    2. Select Save.

Results

Your calendar task is now an iCalendar file that can be added to a calendar.
