 Defining a Task List

Use

You need maintenance task lists to use the maintenance and service planning board. Maintenance task lists include slot task lists and check task lists.

You use a slot task list to reserve a service area and to plan activities that take place before and after the maintenance task. You use a check task list to plan the activities required for the maintenance task.

Prerequisites

The required Customizing activities have been defined. For more information, see Preparatory Activities in SAP SCM .

Your user is assigned to iPPE user profile S_MSPALL .

Procedure

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Advanced Planning and Optimization Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Master Data for Maintenance and Service Planning Next navigation step Maintenance Task List End of the navigation path .

    Note Note

    You can create, edit, and delete task lists in this transaction. This procedure describes how to create a task list.

  2. Choose ( Display<->Change ).

  3. Choose ( Create ) and enter the following data:

    Process Structure

    Process Structure

    Type

    Slot Task List

    Check Task List

    Node

    < Name of slot task list >

    < Name of check task list >

  4. Choose Create .

    Your task list appears as a node in the Maintenance Task List hierarchy on the left of the screen.

  5. In the Header Data area, enter a Description for your slot task list.

  6. Save your entries.
