Procedure documentationPreparing to Use BW Queries in Retention Warehouse

 

You can evaluate the data stored in an ILM Retention Warehouse either with BW queries or using local reporting functions.

The BW queries are available via launchpad applications in the NetWeaver Business Client (Retention Warehouse Cockpit) or in the Portal.

Procedure

  1. Make the required system connections or system aliases available and activate the content delivered by SAP for BW queries.

  2. If you want to transfer ArchiveLink attachments to Retention Warehouse, you need to enable the display of these attachments in BW queries.

  3. If you want call up BW queries in the portal: Install the content necessary for BW queries in the portal according to the Business Packages supplied by SAP.

    Note Note

    You do not need any business packages to call up BW queries using the ILM Retention Warehouse Cockpit in NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC).
