Preparing SAP S/4HANA Backend Catalogs for Reuse

With SAP S/4HANA, a set of Web Dynpro ABAP applications and SAP GUI transactions is available as standard content in predefined catalogs. Catalogs containing references to SAP GUI transactions and Web Dynpro ABAP applications are located in the back-end system. In order to reuse them, you need to establish connections between front-end and back-end and replicate the catalogs on the front-end server using an extraction report. You can then copy the catalogs and adapt them to your own needs.
