Configuring ABAP SMI in the Back-End System
ABAP Social Media Integration (ABAP SMI) needs to be configured in the Business Suite system.
The configuration includes the registration of the back-end system with SAP Jam as described in
Connecting to SAP Jam with ABAP SMI.
Note The connection to SAP
Jam is not necessary if the calls are redirected to the SAP Gateway server (ABAP SMI
hub). In this case, the connection needs to be configured to the SAP Gateway server.
This section describes how to make the settings specific to the Sending Notifications scenario.
