Procedure documentation Defining a Schedule for Selection  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You define when work items are to be selected in the schedule for the selection. You can change the schedule for a selection at any point. This may be necessary, for example, when the number of relevant work items has increased and you want the selection to be executed more frequently.

To better distribute the system load you can execute different selections at different times. If you want to use the same subscriptions for the work items of the different selections, specify the same category in the individual selections. This may be useful, for example, if you want to use existing subscriptions for the work items of a new Workflow.

Recommendation

When you create or change a schedule, check that the SWN_SELSEN report is scheduled correctly (see also: Report for Selection and Delivery). Any changes to the schedule only take effect if the SWN_SELSEN report is scheduled correctly. For example, if the selection is to be executed every hour, then the report must be executed at least once an hour as well.
