Object documentation User Node in Organizational Hierarchy  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Technical Name: 0CRMOM

Use

This variable enables you to restrict the responsible sales organization characteristic (technical name 0CRMSA_OG_R). It has been designed so that the data displayed in a query can be filtered so that it is relevant for managerial roles in the SAP Enterprise Portal, such as the sales manager.

If you employ this variable, when a manager calls up a query, they only see data for the node in the organizational hierarchy to which they have been assigned, for example, the sales documents for their own sales organization.

Integration

This variable must be used in conjunction with the user name variable.

Activities

  1. You must assign the variables to the required roles. To do this, go to the SAP menu in your Business Warehouse system and choose Tools -> Administration -> User Maintenance -> Role Administration -> Roles.
Note The roles that are relevant for the Enterprise Portal and therefore for this assignment have technical names that begin with the naming convention SAP_PCC. For example, the Sales Manager has the technical name SAP_PCC_SALES_MANAGER.
  2. Select the role you want to change and choose the Personalization tab.
  3. Double-click on the CRM_ROLE_VARIABLE_SETTING personalization object and add the variables 0CRMOM and 0P_USER.
  4. Assign a priority to the variables so that the system knows in which sequence to call them up.

Note Ensure that the users are named identically in all the relevant systems, that is, Business Warehouse, Customer Relationship Management and the Enterprise Portal.

Example

An example of a query that uses this variable is the Sales Pipeline Analysis.
