Backlogged Production Orders 
InfoCube: 0PP_C15
This InfoCube contains information about backlogs in production.
In addition to the quantity- and value-based consideration of the backlogged production orders, classifications are established. In the process, the backlogged production orders are uniquely distributed according to the following time periods:
1) Within one day
2) Within seven days
3) Within 30 days
4) More than 30 days
The evaluation level relates to the characteristics in production (for example, plant, material, and material group).
Production orders are first loaded into the ODS object Plan/Actual Comparison Order/Material View (0PP_DS01) and are then posted to the InfoCube as full upload. The system date (filling of the InfoObject Calendar Day (0CALDAY)) serves as the key date or loading date. During the update, the material date is read from the ODS object Material Prices (0COPC_O01) and the open value is calculated in the InfoCube.
An order is then regarded as backlogged if the following applies:
1) The planned delivery date or desired delivery date lies in the past (in other words, before the key date or loading date)
2) There is an open quantity
3) The delivery completed indicator has not been set
Because this InfoCube represents a snapshot of the backlogged production orders, you can expect a very high volume of data.
Recommendation
It is recommended that when doing daily updates, you either compress past requests (such as a summarization of data from the previous months, on the month level), or conduct a further update in an InfoCube with a less-fine time-granularity (on the month level, for example) and at the same time delete the update requests.
You can automate these steps by using process chains.
