This key figure is defined as the number of days taken by a kanban container for replenishment, that is, the total days taken by a kanban container to change from status EMPTY to FULL for a particular control cycle.
This key figure is then averaged for a particular control cycle, taking into account the factory calendar and shift timings.
The actual replenishment lead time for a kanban is calculated in days, if replenishment time is more than a day.
And, the actual replenishment lead time is calculated in hours, if the replenishment time is less than a day. For more details, see Actual Replenishment Time in Hours.
Note
Working hours and shifts should be considered when calculating actual replenishment lead time.
