This key figure is defined as the time taken in hours to replenish a kanban container. It is the total time taken by a kanban container to change from status EMPTY to FULL.
The actual replenishment lead time in the ERP system is calculated by adding the total refill and transit time. Hence, in the ERP system, this is calculated as the time difference to change from status EMPTY to FULL.
The times are then averaged on a hourly basis, that is the status change from EMPTY to FULL for a particular control cycle is recorded, then the final value is averaged using new and existing values.
Note
Working hours and shifts should be considered when calculating actual replenishment lead time.
