Design Manually Mode
You use Design Manually mode to build a diagram showing any combination of mission and vision statements, perspectives and objectives. This mode gives you the most flexibility over you layout, and you can make the diagram as simple or complex as required, within the range of available design options.
Use this mode to do all of the following:
Select the items from the strategy that you want in your diagram. If you have already created Text Items, they are listed here as well.
Specify diagram properties, such as default color and shape settings for perspective and objective diagram objects, and whether to display status indicators in the published diagram.
Add Text Items with URL links. Any new Text Items are included by default in the diagram.
Draw any arrows.
Change the shape and color of individual objects, using Properties for perspectives, Properties for objectives, Properties for mission, Properties for vision, and Properties for text item. You can also use settings in these functions to size and move the object based on pixels.
Make sure the Arrow button is off or that is not selected.
Move and resize all diagram objects, using the mouse. Use Snap to Grid to aid in alignment.
