You can add arrows to show the relationship between perspectives.

Arrows are visible in Design Manually and Auto-Layout modes. In Auto-Layout mode arrows are added by default in fixed positions and cannot be changed. In Design Manually mode you can add, move, delete, or change the color or direction of an arrow.

Arrows cannot show relationships to or from text items.

Features

In Design Manually mode, you can do the following with arrows:

  • You can add new arrows.

  • You can delete existing arrows by selecting the arrow and clicking the Delete key.

  • You can change the color or direction of a single arrow.

In either Design Manually or Auto-Layout mode you can change the default color of all arrows.

Caution Caution

Do not choose Auto-Layout mode after adding or deleting arrows. Auto-Layout organizes diagram objects into a predefined layout and cannot be undone.

End of the caution.
