Procedure

  1. From the Operational Reviews component, click New Operational Review. An Operational Review Name text box prompt appears where you can provide a name.

  2. If you want to add a PDF file to the operational review, click the Add External PDF button in the left panel. Then use the Browse button in the Add External PDF dialog box to locate the PDF file and click OK. The file is added to the operational review.

  3. To add a screen capture, click Add screen to view the application in Capture mode. Enter the required information as follows:

    Context drop-down list

    From the drop-down list, select the context you want to work with.

    An operational review can have screen captures from one context or multiple contexts.

    tab

    Click the tab for the component containing the screen you want to capture. Then set up the view that you want to capture.

    Capture this screen

    Click this button to capture the screen.

    Screen name

    In the text box, type a name for the screen. This name will appear on the top left corner of the page.

    Annotation

    In the text box, type a note about this screen. This annotation will appear on the top right corner of the page.

    Depending on what you are capturing, you can select options to include extra information about this screen in the operational review. Extra pages will be printed for the extra information.

    Display Grid Lines

    Click this option if you want to display grid lines to separate the rows of a table. This option appears when capturing an Initiatives Summary view, a Scorecard Overviews view in the Scorecard component, and a Scorecard Comparison view in the Scorecard component.

    Close

    Closes Capture Mode. When you are finished capturing screens, click Close to return to the Operational Reviews component.

  4. You can either publish this operational review, work with other operational reviews, or click the Home tab to return to the Home component without publishing the operational review.

    • Create an operational review.

    • Do not publish it.

    • Return to Home component.

    The operational review is listed as unpublished in your My Operational Reviews section of the Operational Reviews panel. No users will see this operational review unless you publish it.

    • Create an operational review.

    • Publish it.

    • Return to Home component.

    The operational review is listed as published in your My Operational Reviews section. Users in application groups that you selected when publishing will see it in their Published Operational Reviews section. Other users will not see the operational review.
