Capture Mode
Use Capture mode to capture the screens for the operational review. When you are viewing the application in Capture mode, you have access to all the components that you normally have access to with some limited functionality.
You can do the following in Capture mode:
Select a context to work with.
You can capture screens from any context you have access to and create an operational review with screens from multiple contexts. Users can view the screens in the operational review regardless of whether they have access to that context.
Users may see the operational review in multiple contexts if they have access to all the contexts shown in the operational review. For information, see Operational Reviews.
Capture a screen from any other component:
Component |
What You Need To Know |
|---|---|
Dashboard captures |
You can select an existing dashboard, but you cannot create or modify a dashboard for capturing. |
Reports captures |
You can select an existing report from the Choose Report panel. You can change chart options, sort columns, and drill up and down depending on the type of report you are displaying. You cannot create or modify a report. The Settings panel is unavailable. |
Home captures |
Only the My Performance Summary section is captured. You can edit the Performance Summary before capturing. You can perform any function available in the Home component, although the only functions relevant to capturing the screen involve editing My Performance Summary. |
Scorecard captures |
You can filter the view using any filter options, go from a Summary screen to a Details screen, go from a Details screen to a Summary screen, sort on columns in the Scorecard views, and format the layouts and columns. |
Initiatives captures |
You can filter the view using any filter options. In Initiatives Summary, you can display details about either the Milestone Summary or the Fishbone Diagram, and display the team members of an initiative, milestone, or submilestone. During the capture, you have the option to capture all initiatives or the currently selected initiative. You can select additional options that specify which initiative information to capture. In the Prioritization Matrix, you can capture the current selections including initiatives, milestones, and/or submilestones, and highlighted items. |
Strategy captures |
You can capture a screen from the Themes or Pathways subtab, the Goal Diagram subtab, or the Cause & Effect subtab. In the Cause & Effect subcomponent, you can capture either causes or effects for an objective. During the screen capture process, you have options to include perspective and objective information, and mission and vision information. This information appears on an additional page in the operational review. |
