Function documentationContext Map Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use the Context Map to see all the contexts and tabs available to you and quickly go to any context and tab.

Features

The Context Map has the following features:

  • You can view all the contexts and tabs in a hierarchical structure.

    Note Note

The Dashboard tab and Reports tab are not depicted in the Context Map.

    End of the note.
  • If any contexts are scored, you see a status indicator showing the performance of the context.

  • If a scored context has at least one perspective whose performance is two levels below the context's performance, the context displays an exclamation point (!) to show that there is a significant difference between the context and at least one of its underlying elements. In cases when a context has a positive status indicator such as green with an exclamation point (!), it is a useful indicator of a deeper issue.

  • You can go directly to a tab and context by clicking on the relevant tab. If you do not have access to a particular context or to a particular tab in a context, you are not able to select the tab from the context.

  • You can display the associated links for a context and click a link to go to that URL in a separate browser window.

  • You can click the Comments pushbutton to display the comments about an aspect of the context. You can also add a comment if you have access to the New or Reply buttons in the Comments dialog box.

  • You can set the Context Map as your startup page in the application using Preferences.

For more information, see Setting Preferences.
