Use

When a client (Web browser) connects with the AS-ABAP (by URL call), the logon is completed in the underlying SAP system.

The section Define Logon Procedure describes the procedure involved and how it can be set up.

We distinguish between different concepts here:

Using a Default User for BSP Applications
Using an Internet User for BSP Applications

Note

You can also let a BSP application run under the public user and switch to an already known User ID later. You can find further information about this type of delayed logon in SAP Note 429165 (User Switch (Delayed Logon) in the HTTP Framework).
