Purpose
The first HTTP Request of a client (usually the Web browser) to a BSP application requires the user to log on via the browser with user name and password. This presupposes that the user is known to the system and is entered in transaction SU01 (compare with Using Internet Users in BSP Applications).
Most Web applications on the other hand, require free access with no browser logon window, whereby the public sections (catalog, overview and so on) should be directly accessible to any number of users. These anonymous requests should be executed with a limited authorization that can be maintained in the system.
Anonymous Default User
For this purpose, it is possible to store a default user for a BSP application in the system. The BSP application is then executed with this user's authorizations.
The section Creating a Default User describes how to create a default user with transaction SICF.
