Prerequisites
If you want to delete local lists, you must
- Be defined as a coordinator for all languages ****
- Have authorization object LOLI Create or Delete Local
Lists with value 02 Create and Delete
Allowed.
Context
This function enables you to list all existing local lists, and delete local lists
that are no longer required.
Procedure
- Call transaction LXE_MASTER.
- Choose .
The Local Lists dialog box appears.
- In the Manage Local Lists group box, choose Select Lists.
This
selects all of the local lists in the system.
- In the Manage Local Lists group box, choose Edit Selection.
All
local lists are displayed in a hierarchy. Selected local lists are
highlighted in yellow.
Note
Local lists that were created according to object type + object name are displayed under the
header GENE Generic List.
Local lists that were created according to target language + object type + object name are
displayed under the header MIXL Multiple Languages
List.
Local lists that were created according to transport object (program ID + object + object
name) are displayed under the header SYST Transport Objects
List.
Dynamic local lists that are used in dialog processes only are displayed under the header
DIAL Dialog List.
Dynamic local lists that are used in dialog processes or background runs are displayed under
the header DYNA Dynamic List.
- If you want to delete one or more local lists, deselect the local lists that you do not want to delete so that the local lists you want to delete are the only ones still selected.
If there are lots of local lists and you only want to delete a few of them,
double-click Local list at the top of the hierarchy to deselect all
local lists, and then reselect the local lists that you want to delete by
double-clicking them.
- Choose Execute.
The number of selected local lists is displayed in the
Selected field.
- Choose Delete Lists.
The selected local lists are deleted.
