Saving Trace Files Locally

Context

Since it takes a long time to display a large trace file you can also download it to your local PC.

Select at least one work process
In the menu, choose Process Trace Save as Local File .
If you have selected more than one process, a dialog box appears in which you can stop the confirmation prompt appearing for the further files. If you choose Yes, all files are written to the selected directory with their default names. Any existing files with these names will be overwritten. If you choose No, the security prompt appears before each file is saved.
Select a storage location
Optional: You can also change the name of the file (default: dev_*)
If a file with the same name already exists, when you save it you are asked if you want to overwrite it.
Save the file
In the system an information window appears informing you of the exact path and file size.

The created trace files are saved in file on your local PC in the location you specified.
