Process Overview (Transaction SM50)
Use

Work processes do the majority of the processing in the SAP system. The process overview displays the current status of the work processes on the application server where you are currently logged on. From here you can switch to the system-wide view and display system-wide work processes.

The process overview is a powerful tool for system monitoring and is used for compiling information for further analysis, error handling, or tuning. For example, you can find out whether the number of work processes in your system is reasonable, or how busy a specific instance is.

You can access the process overview in various ways:
