Deactivating Object Types for Translation

Prerequisites

You have defined the target languages in your translation system. For more information, see Defining Target Languages.
You have activated object types for translation into one or more languages.
If you want to deactivate object types for a specific target language, you are defined as a coordinator for that language in transaction Translation Administration (LXE_MASTER).
If you want to deactivate object types for all target languages, you are defined as a coordinator for all languages **** in transaction LXE_MASTER.
Your translator profile must include the authorization object LAOB with the value 02.

If you want to deactivate a specific object type or object group for a specific target language, proceed as follows:

Call transaction LXE_MASTER.
On the Languages tab, choose Object Types. The Choose Target Language dialog box appears.
Double-click the target language for which you want to deactivate object types for translation.
The Object Types dialog box appears. The selected target language is displayed in the Language field at the top of the dialog box. All of the activated object types are listed in alphabetical order.
Select the object types that you no longer want to translate into this target language.
Choose Delete Selected Entries.
Choose Save.

Note
If you have already created and evaluated an object list to generate a worklist and statistics for this target language, the worklist and statistics probably already include objects of the object types that you just deactivated. To remove these objects from the worklist and statistics after deactivating the object types, create a new evaluation with the checkbox Replace Existing Worklist activated.
