Adding Collections to the Buffer

Use

You can add collections to the buffer after selecting collections in the Collections dialog box, or while displaying the statistics in transaction Translation Statistics (SLLS).

You can then use the Collections dialog box to retrieve the collections from the buffer. This function is particularly useful if you want to assign collections to a translator, or create a worklist in transaction SE63, without having to select the collections again.

Procedure

Open the Collections dialog box in one of the translation transactions, such as Translation Administration (LXE_MASTER) or Translation Statistics (SLLS), that enables you to do so.
Select the collections that you want to add to the buffer.
In the Export group box, choose Buffer.

Result

The number of selected collections that you added to the buffer is now displayed next to Buffer in the Select Collections group box.

The next time you access the Collections dialog box, you can use one of the selection functions (that is, Select, Add Add, Remove Remove, Intersection) next to Buffer in the Select Collections group box to retrieve the collections from the buffer.
