Prerequisites
Two or more evaluations
must have run so that there are at least two statistics runs for you to compare.
Context
You want to use the History tab in transaction Translation
Statistics (SLLS) to
compare two or more statistics runs with a reference statistics run, so that you can
see how the workload has developed over a specific period of time.
Procedure
- Perform steps 1 to 4 in Displaying Statistics as a Coordinator.
- On the History tab, enter one of the statistics run numbers (that are displayed
in the far left column of the table) in the Reference Statistics
No. field directly above the table.
- Select one or more statistics runs that you want to compare with the reference
statistics.
- To display the statistics runs in the system itself, choose
Display.
- To download the statistics runs, choose .
Caution
When downloading statistics from the system, make sure that you have
maintained the same decimal notation in your user profile (transaction
SU3) as on your operating
system.
Results
The system displays or downloads the statistics runs according to the criteria you
selected.
The statistics run that you entered in the Reference Statistics
No. field is displayed in full at the top of the screen. For
information on how to interpret the statistics, see Interpreting the Statistics as a Coordinator.
The other statistics runs that you selected are not displayed in full. Instead, you
see how they deviate from the reference statistics run. For example:
- Statistics run 45 for target language enUS contains:
- 51,019 lines in total, of which
- 705 lines are new
- 6 lines are modified
- 50,308 lines are translated
- Statistics run 32 for target language enUS contains:
- 50,042 lines in total, of which
- 288 lines are new
- 47 lines are modified
- 49,707 lines are translated
- You enter 45 in the Reference Statistics No. field,
select statistics run 32, and choose Display.
- Statistics run 45 is displayed in full at the top of the screen. You can see
that it contains:
- 51,019 lines in total, of which
- 705 lines are new
- 6 lines are modified
- 50,308 lines are translated
- Statistics run 32 is not displayed in full. Instead, you see how the figures
deviate from those in statistics run 45. You therefore see the following
figures:
- 977- lines in total (because statistics run 32 contains a total of 977
lines less than statistics run 45)
- 417- new lines (because statistics run 32 contains 417 new lines less
than statistics run 45)
- 41 modified lines (because statistics run 32 contains 41 modified lines
more than statistics run 45)
- 601- translated lines (because statistics run 32 contains 601
translated lines less than statistics run 45)
