The system to which you want to forward the transport must belong to the transport domain and transport group of the current system.
The transport that you want to forward is a non-ABAP transport.
After transports have been imported successfully, they are automatically marked for import into further systems. The transport route configuration determines which transports are automatically forwarded to which target systems.
Besides automatically forwarding transports using predefined transport routes, you may have to import a transport into a target system outside the predefined transport routes.
Forwarding means that a transport is placed in the import queue of the chosen system. It is not imported automatically.
Forwarding of transports is supported for non-ABAP transports only.
If you want to forward ABAP transports you can do this in the SAP GUI import queue. To switch to the SAP GUI import queue, choose SAP GUI.
Alternatively, you can use the Import Queue Web UI to add an ABAP transport manually to the import queue instead of forwarding it. For more information, see Import Queue Web UI - Adding a Transport to the Import Queue.
The transport is placed at the end of the import queue of the selected target system.
You can import this transport as usual.
