If you reset your worklist, the system removes all objects from your worklist irrespective of their translation status. Your worklist is then empty and you can call up a new one. You may need to reset your worklist in the following situations:
You have called up too many objects and would like to call up a new worklist for fewer objects per object type.
The same collections have been assigned to you and other translators, and you want to enable another translator to call up objects for translation that are still reserved in your worklist.
You want to call up a worklist with a different worklist number in the same system.
You want to call up a worklist for a different translation direction in the same system.
You can reset your worklist from the initial screen of transaction SE63 and then call up a new worklist immediately afterwards, and you can reset your worklist from the worklist screen.
If you want to reset your worklist from the initial screen of transaction SE63, proceed as follows:
If you have already reserved objects in a worklist, the following text appears in the dialog box: Active worklist available: <source language> -> <target language> / <worklist number> (ID: <reservation number>)
This allows you to maintain the Source Language, Target Language, and Worklist Number fields.
The system resets your existing worklist, and the Create Worklist screen appears.
If you want to reset your worklist directly from the worklist screen, proceed as follows:
The system resets your existing worklist, and you return to the initial screen of transaction SE63.
The system has removed all objects from your worklist. You can now call up a new worklist.
