SM50 in Detail: Most Important Icons

In SM50 a snapshot is displayed. For an up-to-date view of process utilization, you have to refresh the process overview.

In the detail view you can also refresh the information displayed for a work process. Note that when you switch from the detail view back into the process overview, the process view is automatically refreshed. If you want to look at a specific snapshot in more detail, you have to save it first [e.g. , , , ].

Opens the detailed information of a selected work process. The detailed information contains information about memory statistics, database statistics, SQL statements, runtime, application, and process.

When you call transaction SM50, the process overview of the instance used by you is the first item displayed in the list. The System-Wide List displays all work processes in the SAP system, not just the processes belonging to a specific instance.

Active Processes Only

Here you can display active processes.

With Current you can display the current trace file of a selected work process.

Here you can add further columns of the column overview.

From the System-Wide List you can go back to the instance-specific process overview.

This icon is displayed only in the System-Wide List.
