Import Queue Web UI - Evaluating the Results of the Import ChecksLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

Depending on your Web browser and its settings, the results of the import checks either open in a new tab or in a new browser window in the background. If your Web browser supports tabs, we recommend that you set up your Web browser so that the check results open in a new tab page. For more information, refer to the documentation of your Web browser.

Note Some non-ABAP objects are transferred to CTS without object list details, for example, when they are uploaded manually using the Transport Organizer Web UI. The system cannot calculate any results for non-ABAP objects without object list details. A warning appears. If you click the link, a dialog box displays the transports with the objects without object list details. Using the context menu you can display or download the content of the object. For a list of objects that the import checks do not support, see Import Queue Web UI - Performing Import Checks.
Note It is possible that a selected transport contains a function module without the related function group. If the function group is not known in the target system because the transport that creates the function group has not yet been imported, then the check cannot calculate any proper results.
Prerequisites

You have performed the import checks in the Import Queue Web UI for ABAP or non-ABAP objects which are supported by the import checks.

For more information, see Import Queue Web UI - Performing Import Checks.

Procedure

Predecessor Check

Depending on the option chosen, the system either shows you the results of the check in a short overview or in a detailed display.

  1. If you chose the Check if Any Exists option and the system finds predecessor transports, the system displays those transports with predecessors in a general results display. To navigate to the detailed view from the general results display, select the transport that you want to analyze further and choose Details.

You then see the transports together with their predecessors in the detailed results display.

Note You also see this if you selected the Check for All option.
  2. To display the overlapping objects, select a row and choose Details.

The overlapping objects are displayed with the transports that they are contained in.

  3. Optional: You can display transports without predecessors using the relevant link.

Downgrade Check

The system displays objects that have older versions than the ones that have already been imported in a results list. The calculation is based on export time stamps. The selected transport that contains the older object version and the transport that has imported the newer version are also displayed for every "downgrading" object.

You can export the result lists in a format that can be opened with Microsoft Excel. Note that only rows that have been selected are exported to the file.
