
If you want to change a proposal, you must delete it and create a new one. You may need to change proposals in the following situations:
You want to correct an incorrect translation in the proposal pool.
You want to make a terminology change.
You want to change an existing proposal (such as a system standard) into a different type of proposal (such as a domain standard).
The status of translated lines changes to modified if translations no longer match the proposal pool entries after they have been changed.
To delete a proposal and create a new one, proceed as follows:
Delete the proposal as described in Deleting Proposals in the Proposal Pool.
Create the new proposal where the deleted proposal used to be. For more information, see Creating Proposals in the Proposal Pool.
If you want to change an existing proposal (such as a system standard) into a different type of proposal (such as a domain standard), proceed as follows:
Select the proposal that you want to change into a different type of proposal.
Choose
. The selected proposal is now displayed at the top of the proposal pool tree, immediately below the source text.
Create this target text as a different type of proposal for the source text.
Delete the old proposal.
