Updating the StatisticsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • An evaluation must have run at least once for statistics to be created.
  • Your translator profile must contain authorization object STGS with value 01, 02, or 03.

Context

You want to use the History tab in transaction Translation Statistics (SLLS) to update the statistics for one or more target languages.

Procedure

  1. Perform steps 1 to 4 in Displaying Statistics as a Coordinator.
  2. Switch to the History tab page.
  3. Select the languages whose statistics you want to update.

    • To update the statistics for the target language displayed in the Target Language field, choose Update (Current Language).

    • To update the statistics for all target languages, choose Update (All Languages).

    • To update the statistics for specific languages, choose Update (Selected Languages) and select the required languages in the dialog box that now appears.

  4. Enter a description for your statistics run in the Write Statistics dialog box.
  5. Schedule the statistics job to run in the background.

    The system schedules a background job called STATISTIC_<USER NAME>_<Target language> (for example, STATISTIC_SMITHJ_enUS).

    You can choose Refresh Display Refresh Display to check the status of the statistics job. You can also monitor the status of the statistics job in transaction SM37.

Results

After the statistics job has finished, the system displays it at the top of the list on the History tab page. Your description is displayed in the Description column.

You can now display up-to-date statistics for the target languages you selected earlier.
