Importing Transport Requests with Non-ABAP Objects

Prerequisites

Transport requests that contain non-ABAP objects exist and have the status Released.

Context

After transport requests with non-ABAP objects were released in the source system they are usually available for import in the target system. You can import them using the Import Queue Web UI, or using Transport Management System (transaction code STMS).

Procedure

To use Import Queue Web UI, start it in your domain controller system for the target system into which you want to import the transport requests. Proceed as described under Performing Imports Using the Import Queue Web UI.
To use Transport Management System, call transaction STMS in your domain controller system. From the import overview, choose target system of the import and import one or more of the waiting transport requests.

Results

The transported objects become available in the target system in accordance with your settings.
