Deleting Worklists

If you have decided to keep various translation projects separate from one another by using transaction Translation Administration (LXE_MASTER) to generate more than one worklist in your system, each with its own worklist number, then it is possible for a large number of worklists to have accumulated over time. You can display a list of existing worklists in LXE_MASTER by clicking on the Evaluations tab page and choosing Worklists. Some of these worklists might not be in use any longer, in which case you can keep the worklist view manageable and free up space on the database by emptying such worklists of all objects, or deleting them completely.

1. Call transaction Translation Administration (LXE_MASTER).

2. On the Evaluations tab page, choose Worklists.

   The Worklists dialog box appears, listing all of the worklists that have been generated in the system.

3. Select the worklists that you don’t need any longer.

4. If you only want to empty the selected worklists of all objects, choose Remove Objects from Selected Worklists.

   If you want to delete the selected worklists, choose Delete Selected Worklists.

If you choose Remove Objects from Selected Worklists, the selected worklists are emptied of all objects but not deleted. You can still see the worklists in the Worklists dialog box in LXE_MASTER, and you can still display statistics for the worklists in transaction SLLS.

If you choose Delete Selected Worklists, the selected worklists are deleted completely.
