System Settings 

In the Current Status user menu, you can, among other things, obtain a display of the system settings of the liveCache database instance.

Prerequisite

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept. You are in the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to this role.

The liveCache database instance is in the ONLINE operational state.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the user menu, choose liveCache Assistant(transaction LC10).

       2.      Enter the name of the database connection.
You can select the name from the list of existing names. You can restrict the search for the required name.

       3.      Choose liveCache → Monitoring.

       4.      Choose Current Status → System Settings.

Result

The system displays an overview of the most important liveCache system settings, divided into the following areas:

·        General Status Information

·        Restart Information

·        Log Information

The system displays information about the options and settings with which the system is currently running.

Critical states (such as logging is deactivated, database trace is activated) are highlighted in color on the display.

You can see whether automatic log backup is activated (AUTOSAVE LOG on) or not (AUTOSAVE LOG off).

In the Restart Information area, you can, among other things, obtain information about the savepoints.
