The Performance display of the liveCache Alert Monitor gives you information on whether the memory analysis of the OMS monitor is activated or not, and information on the OMS versions, database trace, and log queues.

Prerequisites

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization conceptt. You are in the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to this role.

Procedure

       1.      Start the liveCache Alert Monitor.

       2.      Choose <Database Connection Name> Performance Monitor.

Default for Alerts

OMS Memory Analysis

Yellow alert, if the memory analysis of the OMS monitor has started, or if the state of the memory analysis could not be determined.
The memory analysis should only be activated if it is required for concrete analyses, as it is very performance-intensive.

Age of Oldest OMS Version

Yellow alert, if the oldest OMS version is at least 8 but less than 12 hours old, or if the OMS version could not be determined.
Red alert, if the oldest OMS version is at least 12 hours old.

Database Trace

Yellow alert, if the database trace is activated, or if the state of the database trace could not be determined.

Log Queue Overflows

Displays the number of log queue overflows since the last time the data collector ran.
When the data collector runs for the first time since a restart or start of the liveCache Alert Monitor, the number of log queue overflows since the restart is displayed.

Log Queue Overflows in %

Displays the proportion (in %) of the log queue overflows as part of the total number of entries in the log queue since the last time the data collector ran.
When the data collector runs for the first time since a restart or start of the liveCache Alert Monitor, the proportion since the restart is displayed.
