Procedure documentation Caches  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

In the Performance display of the liveCache Alert Monitors, you can find, among other things, information about the cache hit rates.

Prerequisites

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept. You are in the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to this role.

Procedure

       1.      Start the liveCache Alert Monitor.

       2.      Choose <Database Connection Name> Performance Caches.

Default for Alerts

Data Cache Hit Rate - total

Yellow alert, if the hit rate falls below 99%
Red alert, if the hit rate falls below 98 %

Data Cache Hit Rate - OMS Data

Yellow alert, if the hit rate falls below 99.8 %
Red alert, if the hit rate falls below 99.5 %

Data Cache Hit Rate - SQL Data

Yellow alert, if the hit rate falls below 99%
Red alert, if the hit rate falls below 98 %

Data Cache Hit Rate – History/Undo

Yellow alert, if the hit rate falls below 99.8 %
Red alert, if the hit rate falls below 99.5 %

Catalog Cache Hit Rate

Yellow alert, if the hit rate falls below 80 %
Red alert, if the hit rate falls below 60 %
