SQL Performance 

In the Problem Analysis user menu, you can find, among other things, tools for analyzing the SQL performance of the liveCache database instance. Use these tools in combination with the analysis of bottlenecks.

Prerequisites

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept. You are in the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to this role.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the user menu, choose liveCache Assistant(transaction LC10).

       2.      Enter the name of the database connection.
You can select the name from the list of existing names. You can restrict the search for the required name.

       3.      Choose liveCache → Monitoring.

       4.      Choose Problem Analysis → Performance → SQL Performance.

Result

The following tools are available to you:

·        Command Monitor
You can perform a short analysis with the command monitor, if, for example, users have reported especially long-running transactions.

·        Resource Monitor
You can use the resource monitor to create an overview of the SQL statements that have used the most resources in a specified period.
